Meet The Team...

All Readipop’s tutors are experienced, gigging musicians and media professionals with experience of running music projects. In the past Readipop have run workshops for WOMAD, BBC Blast, V Festival, The Music Industry Association, Goldsmiths College London, Academy of Contemporary Music, and many others.

All tutors have CRB checks in place. You bring the enthusiasm – we bring the experience!

Gavin Lombos - Creative Director

Gavin Lombos helped create Readipop in 1998 and has been involved ever since. He became Creative Director when Readipop became a charity in 2008.

Rob Gilmour - Programme Co-ordinator & Music Educator

Rob Gilmour is a music educator, workshop facilitator and arts project manager. His time is currently split between running music workshops, working as an arts project manager, private tuition and performing.

Paul has a reputation as a solid, versatile and hard working drummer. His enthusiasm and professional approach has brought him huge success, including international tours, major festival appearances and national radio and television appearances.

Stu Roberts is a London based drummer, percussionist and teacher. He has worked in a large variety of musical settings from world music to jazz, pop to electronica.

Tom Langley - Music Educator

Tom developed an addiction to electronic music at a very young age and has been working for the past ten years as a successful DJ, performing to audiences in venues across throughout the UK, as well as live broadcasting through internet and FM radio.
