Junk Story was an original multi-media performance by the sixth form pupils of Ranelagh School, Bracknell and performed at South Hill Park Arts Centre in Summer 2003. In collaboration with a number of other artists, Readipop contributed to the planning, production and performance of the entire piece, running two days of workshops and handling much of the offline production and editing, as well as stage management of the event.

Students created a number of junk instruments which were wired to trigger a number of 'junk' sounds that they had recorded and a percussive soundtrack was written. Meanwhile, another group of students photographed and filmed images for editing into a digital montage which later formed the backdrop for the performance.
