Readipop is proud to welcome the wisdom of Roger Robinson to Reading in a two hour talkshop July 5.
Roger Robinson is a writer who makes music. He uses Twitter to help Artists & Creatives think about and reach their potential.
Using a combination of anecdotes, story and multimedia to deliver a gut punch of a talk, it aims to provide the highs and lows of a ferociously independent existence from his career in the world of contemporary music and writing. You’ll explore ways to beat a creative slump and think productively about your own creative habits. The talk Includes practical tips for getting the best out of your artistic practice.
Roger is a Trinidadian writer and performer. He has performed worldwide and is an experienced workshop leader and lecturer on poetry. He received commission from The National Trust, London Opera House, The National Portrait Gallery, The V&A, INVIA and Theatre royal Stratford Ease where he was also associate artist. Roger is also lead vocalist of the critically acclaimed band King Midas Sound and frontman with Piers Faccini band Horsedreamer.
