A facilitated CPD session and group discussion about working with young people facing challenging circumstances, sharing ideas, experiences and best practice led by Readipop and Nicky Dziewulska-Miles Programme Manager for Individual Learning Programmes at Cranbury College, Reading.
Readipop has been working with Cranbury College for 10 years on a range of music projects. Join us to discuss the programmes and processes we have developed through this partnership and its relevance to other work with children and young people facing challenging circumstances.

Cranbury College
Cranbury College is a Pupil Referral Unit that provides education for young people aged between 5 and 19.The college provides for students with a wide range of educational needs including students who are presently excluded; at risk of exclusion from mainstream schools, those who are sick in hospital or at home; those students too anxious or ill to attend school; students awaiting placement in a special school, and those awaiting a new placement. The college also provides Behaviour Support Services for primary and secondary students. These students, the majority of which are primary aged, remain in their mainstream schools.

N4ME
N4ME is a Readipop project funded via Youth Music’s Networking module. Network for Music Educators delivers networking and professional development events for music leaders working in non formal education.

MUSICATE
The Buckinghamshire, Milton Keynes and Slough Music Education Hub Alliance
The three music hubs, led by Buckinghamshire, Milton Keynes and Slough Music Services, collaborate on a variety of programmes of common interest to further the educational and musical benefit of our hub partners. The aim of the partnership is to share expertise and experience, promote and exemplify the best pedagogical practice from across the region, and develop opportunties that are only possible when partnership and collaboration flourishes.
