KOATES is an indie rock pop band hailing from London/Brighton. Fronted by James Coates with JoJo Macari on Bass & Joe Perkins on Drums, this dynamic & charismatic three piece has been causing huge waves on the London scene since its formation in early 2016.
Drawing on influences such as Rufus Wainwright, Fleetwood Mac, Billy Joel & Neil Young; KOATES combines catchy melodies with seamless harmonies and relatable lyrics that evoke striking imagery sure to linger long after they’ve left the stage.
KOATES aims to make 2017 their breakthrough year, recently finishing up a mini UK tour, playing with BBC introducing, and exciting festivals this summer including Glastonbury PRS stage.
