BIGG are a four-piece alternative indie rock band from Reading drawing from an eclectic mix of genres like UK grime and pop punk, to Frank Zappa and electro.
Previously known as Beat Magnets, BIGG’s former life earned them headline slots, festival appearances and the chance to support indie favourites The Wombats.
Stalwart band members and Reading based brothers Tom (aka Big G) and James met current members Pearce and Smithy in 2012, and took the departure of their original lead singer as the opportunity to hone their sound in what would become their current project as BIGG.
Their debut effort, album ‘Lock Up Your Daughters’ was released last year, and offers a muscular, confrontational version of indie rock comparable to the bold riffs of Arctic Monkeys, sure to translate explosively into their live performance this festival.
